“I have always wanted a pup, but didn't really care what kind to be honest. My husband is allergic to everything, so to prove to him how serious I was about getting a dog I did tons of research on breeds. He finally agreed that we could have an F2 Red Goldendoodle. We searched for a few years on and off, but the timing of the litter never seemed to work out quite right for us. Finally one night he came across Red Ridge Doodles and there was one pup left that hadn't been reserved. I thought he was teasing me and would find some reason not to contact the breeder, so I took matters into my own hands and called up Kris. She conducted a phone interview with me and I'll be honest, I've never been more nervous in my life. The way she was describing Ollie's personality was perfect for us. Easy going and cuddly, will love curling up on the couch with you and watching TV. Seeing as we were planning to grow our family, a well-tempered and calm dog was what we wanted. We went to meet him to make sure that Tyler wouldn't have any type of reaction and fell even more in love. I remember holding him and whispering to Tyler "I'm not letting him go". His personality was and has been exactly how Kris described him, which just goes to show how well she knows the breed and her pups. Tyler and I had never had a dog before, so we had tons of questions which Kris answered so patiently and even taught us some tips and tricks for training. To this day if we have any questions, we send her an email and she is quick to reply and provides a ton of support. Overall the adoption was a great experience and we truly believe that it was fate that landed us on Red Ridge Doodle's website. Ollie is perfect for us and we can't imagine what life was like before him. We have recommended Red Ridge Doodles to everyone that asks us where we got Ollie from and will be sure to go to them once we are ready for another fur baby.

"I stumbled upon Red Ridge Doodles by accident - it was through a friend of a friend, and I hadn’t even done research into any other breeders. I actually didn’t even know I wanted a dog, let alone could have one due to my lifelong allergies. However, upon meeting Kris and her family, I just knew in my gut that if I ever was going to get one, they were the right choice.  One of the primary reasons I made the decision to jump into dog ownership was because of Kris, her family, and how she runs her business (and of course Mabel!). After I met the Presber family, I firstly felt right at home, right away. It just instantly felt comfortable, and “right”. Mabel is the sweetest girl I’ve ever met, and also, doing this “test run” meant I could see how my allergies reacted – and they didn’t act up at all!  Kris is very, very knowledgeable and was able to give lots of information and answered my multitude of questions. I could tell from the outset that dog (both puppy and mama) health and happiness were her number one priority, as evidenced by the care they take of Mabel and of our litter, and their breeding program overall.  I felt very informed and comfortable going into the adoption process and was well-updated along the way. I was even able to meet my puppy (Daphne) before taking her home, and freely communicated with Kris over email and text, receiving videos, asking questions, and planning for Daphne’s arrival. I really liked Kris’ weekly “pupdate” emails and learning about the puppy program Kris starts from birth! Overall I’ve had an absolutely wonderful experience with Red Ridge Doodles, and would recommend them to anyone looking for an involved experience and who is interested in a caring, intelligent, amazing companion. Upon learning about the world of irresponsible breeders, puppy mills, etc, it’s been especially underscore to me that Kris and her family operate at a very high standard of animal welfare, and this is immensely important.  Lastly, a bit about Daphne: she’s honestly so much more than I even anticipated. For a while, I think she almost thought she was a human (she tried to sit on a chair at our dining table with us one day for breakfast) for the first part of her life. Now she has grown from a quirky puppy to a 3 year-old dog that is extremely intuitive, clever, sensitive, cuddly, and truly a “people” dog. She could really become best friends with anyone, and loves being around all of the action (and I have a VERY large family). This includes older and very young people alike – she is especially patient with young children. I have 6-year-old cousins that she lets brush her ears! She is also very in tune with the people in her family. Family members swear she can tell when they are sick or feeling down (myself included), and while she is very playful and can have lots of energy, she’s happy just cuddling up to you if you’re needing an “in” day. She really has adapted so well to our life, and I really think she is truly the perfect dog.  Thank you so much Mabel, Kris, and Red Ridge Doodles!"

"I've always had a dog in my life – mostly Golden Retrievers - since I was small.  We've always done extensive research on breeders that we purchased our dogs from because the pup will be a member of our family and we want the best health and attitude possible. After having 2 children who suffered from allergies, we decided our next dog would be a Goldendoodle. Folks that know me know that I get only the best in Golden Retrievers... and now Goldendoodles.  I have no problem telling them that Red Ridge was my top pick after all my research was done!  I must say that Kris at Red Ridge was the most professional breeder to deal with and the puppy that she recommended for our family was the most socialized puppy that I've ever had.  She was confident, bonded quickly and had a great sense of self for an eight week old puppy!  Kris obviously put a lot of time into her pups those first critical 8 weeks.  My Missy is over a year old now and he has all the characteristics that we had hoped for. She is friendly, good with other dogs and people. She is smart, loving, has excellent health and a joy to live with.  And she is a BEAUTY!  We couldn’t be happier and would highly recommend Red Ridge Doodles to anyone looking for a great family pet."
